I have one or two in my home off and on, and while not harmful, can be irritating at times.

I've seen quite a few. There's certain things I can feel sometimes, that I know are people I've lost being there beside me.

I do believe in ghosts and have had a couple in a house I lived in, in the past. They were two older women that just wandered during the night, and moved things they felt were out of place. Nothing harmful, but we knew that it was still their home to watch over.

As a child the chandelier used to swing from side to side, and the radio would turn on by itself in the middle of the night.

One time on a camping trip I was walking back from the bathrooms at that moment right between day and night and I saw someone walk across the front of the site and stop behind a tree. So I figure one of the people is going to jump out and try to surprise me, so I pull out my flashlight, walk up to the tree, turn on the light, and there's no one there.

One time I was alone in a house, and I felt a presence. I looked at a mobile hanging motionless, and said, "If there is anyone else here, make the mobile spin." The next moment, the mobile began to spin.

One time I was driving into Ponca State Park to set up a large camping gathering, and the sides of the road were lined with spirits. All standing there, clearly visible to everyone, calmly welcoming us back.

On another camping trip, we felt a spirit near the bon-fire. We had a ring of 40 tiki-torches around the bonfire. It was a still and windless night, but all the tiki flames near the spirit bent in. One of the people in the circle had a fancy camera. After the campout she went to get the film developed, and all the photos from before the visitor turned out, but after that all the film was blank. She took the camera in to be repaired. The repairman asked if she'd been in a nuclear power plant. All the innards were fried from electromagnetism

My grandmother died while my niece was in utero. After my niece was born, she would look up at areas where no one was standing, and laugh and giggle. We all knew that she was looking at gramma, so we never showed her any pictures. Finally, at about a year old, she could speak, and my sister showed her the family photo album. My niece picked out her photo and said, "That's Old Gramma."

I haven't seen a ghost myself, but my sister had an encounter about 7 or 8 years ago. My mother, aunt, and grandmother together had a poltergeist encounter about 60 years ago. I believe their stories since they were very sincere. Also, last Halloween I was at a party where we (all adults) started discussing ghost encounters. They're apparently fairly common. By the way, I'm a "Gloria R" also!

I do believe in the supernatural. I'm not sure about ghosts, but I've experienced some weird things in my lifetime. When my sister was three weeks old. My mom placed her in the middle of my parents' bed. When Mom went back to check on her, my sister was on a blanket in the middle of the floor. The blanket was spread out all nice and neat. No one but my mom, my younger sister, and myself were home. We were all downstairs having lunch. It freaked us out. Weird things like that happened in that house all the time.

i have had a handful of encounters with them, actually. Once, my aunt and i were sitting in my room, just talking. the remote for my TV/VCR was sitting a good ten feet from us, when suddenly, without warning the TV came on, the VCR started rewinding itself, then tape in it started playing. i looked at he remote in just enough time to see it come to the ground, facing the opposite direction. a couple years back, my dad was cooking outside on the grill, so i came outside to give him cheese for mine and my sister's burger, but he wasn't there, so i just set it down and started to walk back into the house. i remembered mom had asked me to tell him something too (don't ask me what, i completely forgot after what happened) so i turned back around to look again, and i saw something walking towards my dogs' kennel. i figure it's my dad going to feed them, but when it's about half-way there, it falls to the ground. i freak out, not knowing what it was, reached under the deck and grab a baseball bat, walk over to it, but as soon as i reach it, it disappears. and my most resent and reoccurring one, i was laying on my couch, watching TV when i see a shaded figure run by the doorway. it's really late, and everyone in bed, so i stand up, freaked out, and grab a book i was reading before watching TV, i walk over to the doorway and look around-nothing. then, half an hour later, i hear noises, a voice. I'm mega scared, so i just decide to stay put. it's 1 a clock in the morning, and NO ONE is awake. this has happened so many times, i usually walk around with a weapon-in my own house.

I have one, two or more....they pretty much leave us alone....I haven't seen them but I do sense their presence. It's unnerving but I don't get a malicious feeling from them....more of a live and let live....
