I view it as neither. Actually, I kind of see it as a Long line of tests. And if you really search hard, you may actually see the forks in the road that you have come across, and I think if you do not take the right direction you will come along a similar lesson. maybe given the chance to make the right decision. I also feel that in this lifetime we should strive to make a difference and be kind to people, because for every thing we do, a similar experience will happen SOMEWHERE down the line. KARMA!
I do not think this is a game, and if you are in anyway spiritual, you will agree. Not as an insult, I mean in general. I also believe, "to each his own", I am only responsible in this lifetime for MY decisions. But, I have children so I am responsible for helping them grow and mature into conscience adults.

Life is definitely a journey, a series of lessens we must learn- if not in this lifetime, then in the next.
But then I've had a hard life and I'm getting old. I can't say I always thought that. It's experience that's resulted in giving me this perspective. I have to have some explanation for all that I've been through.... or I just couldn't live with it.

Neither. Life is not a game; it is *dead* serious. Pun intended. No way am I going to sit around and watch it pass by, either. Live everyday like it's the last, one day it will be. Have fun, and try not to hurt other people who are only enjoying their life...

To me, Life is a chance to explore, learn, help others, and live it to the fullest. There's no time to regret anything, or to wander if you're doing the right thing or not. To loosely quote my favorite book, you're beautiful in all things you do, and whatever you do is beautiful.
