What do you guys think of this? Obviously on the surface it seems great because we get to see the cast we liked the best back in action, but at the same time, I honestly believe with all my heart that this is going to take away from the game big time. First of all, as spectators, we miss out on the mystery of getting to know the new faces. And of course, the players will know alot about each other from the get-go. I think this is an important dynamic that will disappear in BB7. For example, there are certain players that you know you will not be able to trust, and some you know you can trust. Anyway that is my view.

I think it'll be fantastic. Although we'll miss out on getting to know new players, it'll be interesting to watch people who really know how to play the game fight to win. So many of them have been burned in the past in some way. Will be fun to see if they've really learned from past mistakes and how their approach to the game changes this season.

Frankly, I thought last summer was the worst run ever for that show. No one had any real personality, sincerity, or like-ability.

Bringing back some of the better people from the past is the only way I could see them possibly getting me to watch it. However, this could easily backfire. If they bring back some of the people I did not like, then they can probably forget it.

I'm not so sure about the people knowing each other. People get on these shows and play each other, and they are not always themselves. It's possible that personalities may seem to switch around.

Alliances have become way too important. You could almost do the whole thing in a two hour special.

I think Big Brother All Stars could be a great idea, it really depends on who they are going to cast. There have been some great personalities on this show throughout the seasons,( Dr. Will, Danielle, Amy, Jannelle, Diane etc.) and some duds, too boring or too wierd to watch> I hope they have a good mix of characters we love to root for and those we love to hate.
I think even the 'trustworty' characters might start playing the game more dastardly this time as it will be their second shot at winning the half million prize

I think it is a good idea. It will be interesting to see who people choose to align themselves with since they have already seen how the other people play the game. It worked out well for CBS when they did the same thing with Survivor

I'm excited about this season. We get to vote the old cast back and you can vote for your favorite. We will already know the people and you will know right away if they are lying and going behind people's backs. It will be interesting to see how everyone gets along.

I agree with you. However, there's going to be different alliances, and it would be interesting to see who ends up being paired with one another. I don't doubt for one moment that some of the previous alliances will re-emerge, but at the same time there'll probably be people, who have 'known' one another, and not, will won't step near one another with a barge pole!

I didn't know that. Sounds like they're taking the Road Rules/Real World Challenge route. It'll force them to be super sneaky or just up-front about things if everyone knows their tricks. Sounds like good tv to me!
