Why they MUST be better than everyone else! Just look at how much money they make, and look at all the fans who just go bonkers when they get out of their limos! Don't you realize that all this makes them not only better than the rest of us, but oh so much more knowledgeable?They're qualified to run for political office because they're so popular. They know so much better than the rest of us how our lives should be run that we should just proclaim them as our ruling class by acclimation! [ end sarcasm ]

Because they are paid better than other people, with salaries that rival a C.E.O. Also all the shows like ET, the E! Network, and all the magazines that follow them. The paparazzi don't follow politicians or C.E.Os very often (princess Diana was an exception) they spend most of their time on movie and TV stars.

Perhaps it is those people who have a tendancy to think they are better than everyone else are more likely to become actors than those who have a normal-sized ego. They are attention seekers.

Ya know, it's funny but they do. But you know what is NOT funny, most of them are into drugs, alcohol or end up divorced at some time in their life. So in reality, they are NOT better then everyone else, just a well known drunk, druggie, bolemic, anorexic, divorcee!

Money. Money has that effect on people. I'm sure the attention and people giving them big heads, telling them they're so great all the time might have something to do with it too.

Because most of them think the world revolves around them - easy to think that way considering the lifestyle. They are so out of touch with the rest of the world they can't even relate.

Because when they apply their skills to movies and TV shows, especially ones that do well, it gives them a sense of importance and superiority. Thus giving them an in-flatted ego.

i guess its bacause they make good $ and they are on t.v. They r not no better than a bum out on the street. They just think their **** don't stink, their wrong. God will judge them in the end just like u and i.

Because people treat them like they are better and they are told they are better eventually you will believe you are better. It could happen to anyone.
