Hey, as long as you feel healthy, then you're fine. I don't know about "the woman's law", Each and every person's weight is compared differently because of everybody's different heights. The BMI (Body Mass Index) measures that. It's a ratio of weight to height squared; the higher BMI is, the more overweight/obese a person is, but it doesn't take into account how much muscle a person has. A obese person can have the same BMI as a muscular person. However, you're muscular, so obviously you're really healthy and NOT FAT!!! You've got muscle, not fat, and you're really healthy. Don't worry about a thing. You're a-okay.

That is a fine weight. Besides, muscle weighs more than fat, which is why dad says you could pass for 125. By the way, 127 is not necessarily fat. It just depends on the height and body type.

Nah, you're fine. Muscle weighs more than fat. I'm 5'9" and you would be surprised what I weigh. Without knowing what body type you have, like small framed or large and just HOW muscular you are, lbs are just a number. I've seen women that say they weigh the same as me only they're much shorter and less fit, so they look HUGE, but when I tell them I weigh the same, they think I am lying.

Don't go by the Insurance Company charts or what anyoneelse says. Your body structure, muscle mass and other things could be dictating your weight.

When I was in the Army, they tried to kick the World Champion Power Lifer out. Said he didn't meet the weight chart, so that meant he was fat. His fat mass was generally less the 7%. He was all bone and muscle mass.

When he sued, the Army realized the stupidity of their decision and allowed him to stay. This was over 20 yrs ago and the Army still does this to people.

You need to see a Dr. with expertise in this area and be properly evaluated.

Listening to others might kill you due to their, and your(for listening to them_, stupidity.

I have a grand daughter who is 5' 5" at 150 pounds and she has all kinds of guy wanting to date her so I would say that guys look at the beauty of someone with 145 pounds and who is muscular, as to what they have inside.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and what one shows what they can have from within.

the number on the scale doesn't matter. What do your clothes look like on your body? What does your body look like without clothes? If you are muscular, you are going to have a higher weight, muscle weighs more than fat.
The most important thing is do you think you are hot or not?

Depends on your bone structure - your dad could be right.

There are women out that that are size 8's but visually look like size 3s because of bone structure.

Most models and actresses have the smallest of the structures which just happens to the be the rarest of the structures - hence most women will never be able to realistically be able to achieve certain weights and still be healthy.

Talk to your doctor....there is a weight and height chart that he can tell you what is good for you. Remember muscle is much more dense than fat and can weigh more. I am 5'2" and my suggested weight is 125 so you are 4" taller...i think things are looking good for you!

I can't really know. I do work with a young lady who runs marathons. She is not ultra skinny, nor is she fat. I do not know her actual weight, but i would not be surprised if it was similar to yours. She is very attractive, but I wouldn't want to wrestle her, publicly, because there is a chance i could lose.
