It depends on your environment and needs. If there is no compelling reason for you to use classic ASP I recommend using .Net 2.0 from an availability of resources & supportability perspective. The majority of OS and web server tools required to run ASP 3.0 are going to become completely desupported shortly

From a productivity perspective the .Net development goes substantially faster. It isn't that difficult to pick up since the IDE provides a significant amount of assistance.

Depends upon your existing environment. I don't think microsoft is touting that all systems should be ported to .Net (or .Net 2.0 for that matter) immediately. If you're supporting a substantial code base, new additions and maintenance would be more than adequately served in their existing language. That being said, if you plan any significant changes to your core systems that will require a retooling of a large portion of your codebase that may be the time you should look into a switchover.

I work in plain old ASP .NET. Hmph.
