I have 2 PC's sharing the internet off one router. A Linksys one. One has a Card and the other has a USB. All Linksys. However neither of them know of the others presence, even though they are both connected to the same router. Anybody offer any help?

You need to go to Computer 1 and go to control panel and then systems. Go to your Computer Name tab and make sure it has the same workgroup name as Computer 2.

Then right click on a folder and allow "share". You should be able to go to My Network places and see the drives and shared folders.

Have you run the Home Networking wizard? This will help ensure that the settings are correct. Here is a short list of items to look for to make sure that you're configured correctly.

Make sure that your network name is the same on both PCs. I use MSHOME for mine, that way there is no confusion. It is the default.
Make sure that your firewall is turned off when your trying to connect. Once you get connected, you can turn it back on.
Can you connect to the internet on both PCs?
If not, then you need to check your IP adress settings.
If your router's adress is 192.168.0.1, then the first PC should be manually set at 192.168.0.2, with a subnet of 255.255.255.0, and a gateway of 192.168.0.1, and a DNS of 192.168.0.1. You can replace the 0 in that IP adresses, not the Subnet, with whatever number the router uses. Some use 1, others 2, and some use 0.

There are a lot of other items that can cause this, but nominally, this will cure it.
