I have 3 dark moles and 1 light mole (almost not visible) on my face. Does this mean anything, like do I have a skin problem? Are there any side-effects? It doesn't hurt/itch or anything though.

As long as you don't have any symptoms, you should be OK, but light moles are kind of a concern. Better safe than sorry - go see a dermatologist. They can diagnose it real quick by looking at the mole with this special mini scope thing that looks really cool.

Moles aren't trouble unless you notice a change in them. For example if it was flat and is suddenly raised, it has obviously changed colors, or the shape and size has changed. Moles are just pigment and usually mean nothing. If you feel weird about them, go see a dermatologist.

You can purchase mole repellent at most home and garden stores, which is more humane than poison or traps. My dog brings a mole in about once a week in summer. The holes in the yard are a real nusiance.

If they change color, start growing rapidly, or hairs are growing out of them - you should see a dermatologist or your regular physician.

Otherwise, generally not. Lots of people have moles.
