Mfg. home is in a park that once was beautiful. Mgmt has let it run down most the homes have moved out but both of us are unemployed and can not afford the cost to move it to a private property to sell.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but manufactured homes decline in value as fast as they leave the showroom...about like a car. If your park has also declined, you may have a tough sale unless you are willing to take a loss.

My husband and I just bought a mfg. home and plan to resell it in two years. We got it for a steal and it is in great shape, but to resell, we are putting on a deck and garage. There is already a privacy fence in back which was a huge plus for us. If you can do alot yourself, that will save. I recommend making sure the inside and out is in good shape and appealing to the eyes. When you sell, take as much clutter out of the house as possible and add as much greenery inside as you can, both are always a winner. Can't tell you what to do about the park, though, most people would consider that in as well, but if you do the little things to brighten your house, that will go a long way, even in you can't build onto it. Good luck!!
