The price of glasses depends on what the prescription is. It is a good idea to get a prescription and then re-post this question with your vision results. If you need glasses only for near vision, it is very inexpensive. If you have more than one problem, it could cost much more. Good luck !

Under 200 dollars. Buy your glasses NOT at the doctor's office. Buy them at Walmart, BJs wholesale club, Sams club, etc (you do not have to be a member even if the store requires membership. Optical shops and pharmacies are open to the public with or without membership to the store. the stores know the law you wont have a problem buying glasses there. You can get the best frames on you, and get scratch resistant lenses that look like clear glass which is what you want, for under 200. I bought mine a few months ago at sams club (and no i am not a member there and i paid the same price that members pay) and mine were about 180.00. I got nice frames and scratch resistant and clear glass looking lenses.
