Depends where in Michigan you live. Some of the things I have done or seen available"

1) Snow Skiing, sure may not be the best hills in America, but beats ice fishing. Cross-country Skiing is also plentiful because there are some great woodlands.

)Dune buggies, or anything you can get out on them fantastic sand dunes. Heck, I used to slide down them dunes face first just to look like Pete Rose sliding into 2nd.

)Waterskiing

)Storm Chasing and damage surveying. I lived through some great and scary storms in my years in Michigan.

)Jigsaw puzzles, don't laugh, I can't think of anything better to do with family and friends that encourages conversation on a cold winter night when the weather is too bad to go outside.

OK, now for more than 5

)Hunting, well, I don't hunt, but I always thought it was unique how boys and girls had to do a required hunter's safety course in junior high. Made hunting sound exciting. And we never had a school shooting.

)Wooden shoe dancing, Seemed to be all the rage in Holland during the Tulip Festival

)Body Surfing, Lake Michigan can get some great waves

)Corpse Diving, who knows what secrets the depths of Lake Eerie Still hold

)Sky Diving, lots of room out there

)Musical Fountain, fun date in Grand Haven

)Coast Guard Festival, still in Grand Haven

)Ice Skating, There was always a rink somewhere in town

)Swimming, lots of pools and some great lakes

)Sailing

)Long Walks, find a partner to walk with and enjoy the experience

)Bike rides, good paths

Well, just a few things to get started with.
