This life (our earthly life) is for learning. You learn from hurting, stressing out, experiencing physical pain and testing yourself daily. If you can learn from each experience that causes you pain, you will grow a mountain's worth. Once you cross over to the other side, the pain from this world is forgotten and you are wise and strong. Go through each pain and learn from it. You will be rewarded in the next life.

well firstly don't say that this "world" is stupid and confusing.. cuz it sounds you're seeing things in a very limited point of view. the world is much bigger than we all can imagine. at times those negative things such as those that give us stresses everyday are getting the best of us. but don't ever let that happen to you. you have the right to live. you have the right to be happy. sometimes instead of trying to change the things around us, it's better if we just live creatively with it- a good way of coping up with stress. I know there are many situations but accepting things that can't be controlled would rather give us a peace of mind and it's really easier. stress is a normal part of everyday life. it's been present since our birth(the labor of being born, isn't it?). no matter how heavy the stress you're experiencing, always keep in mind that you're never the only one in this world. there'd always be someone else who's got it way harder than you. besides, you're still a student to worry too much. I advice you to discover some ways of dealing with stress successfully. try to be more creative and have fun. best regards and all the best.

Starla's right! To add to that though, happiness is the best emotion to feel. You can get happiness through laughter. Try reading a funny book, watching a funny movie, listening to a funny joke. It may start out as just a mask for the true wound but isn't that what bandaids are for? Not only does laughter help me but remembering that whatever pain I'm feeling or however a bad situation I'm in, somebody else is 10 times more worse than me. You are not alone in this and you can be happy if you choose to. Be strong and brave, but most of all, be thankful for being alive and for being who and what you are. Thank your God for your soul, thank your momma for bringing you in this world and thank your doctor for slapping some sence into ya. LOL It's all apart of life. Now go be brilliant and tell the world who you are!

I can't answer what life if for but can tell you not to give up. I do believe life goes in cycles. I have had some really bad times - the latest being losing everything (including my wonderful pets) in Hurricane Katrina. You just keep going on. I don't know what tomorrow Will bring (good or bad) but I want to be here to experience it. When I get sad or depressed I stop and realize that there are others worse off then me. I still have control of my life (some don't). Hang in there and see what happens.

I know where you are coming from and I feel the same way a lot but what i have learned is that life is for yourself. You decide what life is for, no one else. Just realize that you do not have to decide soon and all the hurt and pain will be worth it in the end. Stay strong/

Starla_C has excellent information, but I don't believe it was actually what you're looking for.
When you get to the point where you don't see much worth in yourself and you get kinda numb when it comes to emotion because you've been through so much, reach out and help someone. It's when you help other people that your problems find their perspective and I've found they may not seem so bad anymore. You'll realize others need you, and you can contribute to making things better in this world. Even if it is just giving out advice on Yahoo! Answers.

You know...I think that the thing that makes me enjoy life the most are the little things. Memories with your friends, experiencing the feeling of butterflies in your stomach when you receive your first kiss, taking long walks, seeing your first sunrise, having lunch with your grandpartent and NOT looking at your watch when they start telling you stories that you've heard a million times. Eh, I think that those are the moments that count Because come on..life is hard, and nobody makes it out alive. Memories are what make life worthin living.

gosh you sure sound like you are suffering from depression. You should talk to your doctor to see if therapy or anti-depressants can help. Don't be ashamed to seek help. Your life can turn around so quickly and you will be able to look back and see how strong you were to get through the hard times and enjoy life and living once again.

Dear child, I feel your pain and pray your heart can rebound with joy. It seems you don't know your purpose in this life as yet. If you have small victories or joys, celebrate them and dwell on them. Please do not let that which you cannot control consume your heart. Take time to reflect on those who have even less that you do and give thanks for all the gentle blessing that I hope you have had throughout your life. I look at every day as a gift and try every single day to uplift someone else. It is my joy.

You were made for one purpose and that was to serve God. He alone gives you the joy and peace to handle all the hurt, stress, and disappoints.
I have been there and found this true.
