I'm a witch, not a Christian, and I certainly don't hold anyone's religious beliefs against them. I do draw the line at those who try to coerce others into their dogmatic thinking. I've got some friends who are Christians, and we get along just fine.

Here's where I draw the line: When the religious right tries to define "marriage" for everyone EXCEPT those whose sexual orientation differs from theirs.

Or when the religious right tries to convert any non-Christian culture to Christianity against its will.

Or when the religious right denies the freedom for other religions to exist.

Or when courts blur the separation between church & state.

Or when our government justifies military force in the name of religious freedom.

Or when the religious right insists that the only cure for addiction is a religious conversion.

I mean, I'm not telling anyone to believe my "stupid crap." I just don't want them to expect me to believe theirs.

Fair enough?

:)

Actually I'm a christian...but my boyfriend isnt and he tells me he doesnt like most christains because when "most" christians are in church we are all "holy" but when we get out in the real world we completely blow God off. He believes there is a God, but he doesnt want to have "someone in control of him". DC Talk has a song called What If I Stumble, at the begining of the song it talked about most people become Athiest because christians "live a double life"...one in church and one out of church!!!

i only have a couple of problems w/ christians.
one is that they think being homosexual is a sin. I'm not homosexual, but i do believe that they have as much right to heaven as the rest of us, and have done nothing wrong.
the other is the fact that they always preach about loveing your fellow man, and then say that other religions r not right, and try to change ppl's mind and convert them
