A computer is an electronic device device capable of accepting input, processing it, storing it, and outputting results,

The parts are
1) An input device, usually a keyboard and mouse, floppy drive CD drive
2) A processing device, usually the CPU (central processing unit)
3) A storage device, usually a hard drive, CD burner, or floppy drive,
4) An output device, usually monitor, printer

In addition to the above answer, the storage (floppy, hard disk) is not really considered a part of the computer. those are secondary storage devices. You would consider RAM (random access memory) to be a part of the computer, as this is where programs/ instructions are loaded.
