I got lured into buying something off of ebay threw western union and i got screwed big time! is it worth calling local cops? All i have is their email address and name which is probably fake. Is there a way for the cops to find them?

thanks!

i never had to call the police for anything. will it cost me any money expecially if they have to look at the security cameras? And would they even do that since it was only like 200 bucks.

thanks guys

Call the pd, and file a report, no charge then contact ebay, they will help you. You don't state whether or not it was westrn union that ripped you off or the seller. You should also contact western union, whoever collected the money committed fraud if they did not send you your merchandise. They have to show id to collect the money. For $200 I would be calling the cops, the feds, and everybody else that would listen!

Contact EBay, see if they can do anything for you. If not, it's a lesson learned, the hard way.
