No matter whom the Democrats send up, I'm sure the Karl Rove smear machine will turn that candidate into the Anti-Christ. Look what they did to honored war veteran John Kerry.

That said, I think there are some strong Democrat candidates out there among the governors. I hope that Hillary's campaign fundraising machine doesn't price these other candidates out. But when's the last time a Senator was elected president? Only eight times have sitting senators gotten the nomination, and of those, only twice have they won: Warren Harding and JFK.

If the Dems want to even have a fighting chance at ending the one-party rule of our nation, they need to start focusing on candidates away from Washington D.C. Just MHO.

This is the only hope. It's far from ideal, but I don't know if the US can survive more republican control. I like Hilary for a lot of reasons, but I also don't like what she's done lately, but regardless, she is not electable. Karl Rove will tear her to shreds, and we'll have another corrupt republican to suffer through.

I am more Republican then anything else, but right now I don't see anyone from both parties. Maybe the Immigration issue will bring forth a 3rd party. The American Party.

I can't think of any, and wouldn't vote for one if there were such a thing. Hillary won't get it. She's to left even for the liberals.
