I am really thinking about college since I'm a junior in highschool now. I wanted to go to college in Flordia or California. Is that a really nice choice?

depends on if you have the money to pay for the out of state tuition would be easier to get finacial aid /grant if you stayed in your home state

Both Florida and California are really nice states, however can you afford it, does the school offer your major and most important what can of scholarships are they offering. You can always go to school in state graduate and get a job out of state

Rule of thumb...pick a college that is more than one day's driving distance from home. You need some space. California would be great - beautiful state.

Personally, seeing that you are choosing between FL and CA I am assuming you are living in a cold state, the answer would be yes. It allows you to have your independance and experience new things. Although it might cost you a lot more though.

No, I don't think you would enjoy that at all. I think however that there are plenty of other out of state schools that you would like such as: West Virginia University, University of Alaska Fairbanks, University of Hawaii, University of Nevada Las Vegas, University of Colorado, and University of Arkansas.

going out of state to college really gives you a great chance to have your independence
