Some very good answers on here, already. Most of which I would have to agree with.
But let's not forget. Men are very visual by nature. That's why the adult movie/magazine industry is a multi-billion dollar economic force.
The visual stimulus of a young, smooth skinned, attractive girl, combined with youthful energy is very appealing to a man.
Whereas women, traditionally, have always looked for a provider (that's where the gold-digger comes in). It is also said, men become more "distinguished" with age. Women seem more able to see past the pot belly, grey hair and age lines, than men. It is, often, more appealing to women to be with someone who may be 20 years (or more) their senior as it is likely the man has done the struggling to get ahead and is more likely to be able to provide a comfortable life, for the woman, and spend more time with them, than a man in their 20's, who is struggling working 2 or more jobs and still isn't sure where next months rent or car payment is going to come from.

No, not after money - sometimes people do genuinely have an attraction to each other and age does not matter.
I dated a guy 26 years my senior for 18 months and we shared a lot of good times, had a lot in common and laughed a lot.
The only problem with this is that with such a large age gap, your lives are at different stages and what the younger person wants in life, the older person doesn't or has already experienced - which is wehn you have to take stock of what is most important to you and make a decision

It is very natural. The level of sexual capacity are matched. The young woman's is on the way up and the older gentlemen's is on his way down. Now, it is more exciting to imagine an older woman with a younger man. That also has been around for a long time for the same reason. His is at the height, which with the man starts first; and hers is just getting to glow, like his is when he is young. Remember the biblcal story of Joseph when the wife of his mentor wanted him and he refused and she accused him of rape? Hot stuff. Now, older woman and younger man is more noticed and talked about. But it has always been there.

A woman in the old days was valued because she could bare children. Supposedly men are instinctively drawn to young fertile women. Men could be virile at a much later age and had to be a good provider. I think the average age for people was about 30 years. So it human nature. But I think men could start being attracted to women because of their wealth.

I'm 32 and my girlfriend is 22. I look a lot younger, and feel it to. The problem with girls my age is the baggage. Plus my girlfriend is very mature and 22 yr old guys act like retards with hardons. I know because I was one. There are a few issues with it, but what relationship does not have issues? Age is a number. 60 and 20 is another story.

i'm a youthful lady who prefers to this component older adult adult males. The older i'm getting, the older the age hollow gets between myself and the adult adult males i'm involved in. it began out while i became 19, while the hollow became 8 years. 5 years in the past, it became into 12. I unquestionably have now exceeded the "20" 12 months mark. i decide for to assert that older adult adult males have greater to furnish a girl in terms of psychological stimulation or adulthood, yet yet another subject is that when the appeal component is there, sexually they are the appropriate journey for another. The older a guy is, the greater beneficial he's in mattress. The mind, the understanding, the point of intimacy and the staying power that an older guy has gained by a life-time of stories surpasses his juniors of two a protracted time in the past. while a youthful lady discovers that he's likewise sluggish, eloquent, and attentive in mattress, how can she in all hazard pass decrease back to a youthful version? That has continually been the subject for me.

Just because a person is older they're supposed to deprive themselves of pleasure? So long as she isn't some adolescent or child I don't see much of a problem with it. Its not perverted, its two grown people having a relationship. Somewhat, awkward, but okay just the same.

As a guy, I'd say that the first time we're interested in women is around high-school. And at that time we were too shy to talk to them. Now we're finally not shy.
There's also the evolutionary thing about wanting a woman in "child-bearing" years. (But she doesn't have to be a teenager for that!)

Young women posses strong pheromones which can knock a man on his butt: rendering his mind useless. It's a very powerful chemical and easy to abuse. It should be used responsibly; since it's like playing with fire. It can put both partners under for several years and / or several kids. Not everything we do is thought out, much of it, especially when it comes to sex, is programmed in us (hardwired). That's my excuse anyway.

If they have mutual feelings for one another and are both over 18, who cares? My brother is 27 and dating a woman older then our Mom. His girlfriend has kids that are older then him, but they love and respect him even none the less.
