He might not be e-mailing u.
He might be typing in your e-mail address wrong and e-mailing some person on the otehr side of the planet unintentionally.

If you mean mail and not email there could be a mix up at the post office or with the mail carrier, i'd contact them and tell them the situation.

make sure he's not in your blocked addresses under options in yahoo mail.

Checked your "Blocked email"......you may have accidentally blocked him. (blocked email goes directly to "trash" folder)

check your block. I did this to a friend and could not understand why I was not getting her email. it was blocked.

Check your bulk folder, they may have been re-directed there
