Lex mark x83 printer transformer. Lexmark.com only wanted to sale ink.

in reality you don't have to have the factory AC adapter... you only need to know, the voltage, amperage, and polarity of the the one that got broken (or lost), then go to Radio shack or walmart and buy it. Voltage (usually between 12 and 19 V) amperage (normally arounf 500 mA to 1 A) and polarity, normally the internal pin is the (+) and the external is the (-)... but hte manuals tell you how... and if worse come to worse, ask the sales person at radio shack.

That is why Lexmark printers are free when you buy someone else's computer package. They make their money on ink and could care less if the printer works. No big deal though, look on the back and it should be marked for needed voltage and the polarity of the plug. There are many after market subs available, Radio Shack for one.

attempt the Lexmark information superhighway internet site. If no longer downloadable application, you will detect a telephone variety. I gained an HP printer with no instruction manual or application, yet they took care of it for me.
