u could start a conversation close 2 that situation and bring it out politely and if she is a good friend she would unserstand and accept it and tell her u would not have appreciated it if some one else had told her.

i don't understand, do you mean your friend has an oder? just say something polite, like "what kind of deodorant do you use?" or something, maybe then she will get the hint..
