This sounds like a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). Do you also experience a painful burning sensation when you urinate? You also have to pee rather frequently but the urine flow is slow and limited? It definitely sounds like a UTI. Try AZO Standard and Cystex in combination with each other. It's the best pain relief you can get from OTC. You definitely need to see a doctor. He'll prescribe an antibiotic (Septra is a good one) if it's a UTI and a prescription strength pain reliever if you need/request it. I hope you feel better soon!

I think there are laws about diagnosing medical conditions on the internet. And also dispensing advice about medical conditions. I am not a phyician. I have a medical background and a medical degree. But here goes. Since you have an appointment with your doctor. Follow his instructions regarding a urine specimen. . Bring a fresh urine sample in a sterilized container with you to this appointment. Preferably the first specimen in the morning. Leave it in the refrig if you are not going until later in the day.Besure to date an print your name on the container. My guess is a kidney stone. Drink lots and lots and lots of fresh water! This may flush the stone from the kidney or the ureter or the urethea. If you had a UTI it would smell foul, be cloudy, and burn as you urinate. Good luck.

It in part sounds like when i had a bladder infection but when I had it it burned really bad when anything came out. I constantly felt like I had to go but only a little would come out at a time. Good luck with the dr. They'll be able to tell if its a UTI with a urine sample.

I'm not trying to scare you....nor am I a medical professional. I also think its great that you are going to the doctor.
You may have kidney stones. Sometimes they block the urinary tract. Even healthy people get this, because we tend to drink alot of milk and water.
Yes, water flushes the system, but in some areas tap water causes kidney stones because of all the minerals.

this sounds like cystitus..no its not as bad as it sounds. you can get treatment from the chemist which are in pouches and all you do is mix it with some water and drink it as a normal drink. all it does is takes out all the acids you have in your system. like if you drink coke. fizzy drinks etc. if you do too much exercise this can fetch it on to. especially if you have had an active day. you dont have to be sexualy active to get this. but its very easy to treat. and can be uncomfortable to. you can drink lemon barley water. which is also good and helps to. but always check with a doctor to get the right treatment. i hope this was of help to you.

It sounds more like a blockage of some kind than an infection. Do keep your appointment with the doctor.

Sounds like a UTI but you'd better go to the doctor right away.
I don't think it's anything other then that.
Drink Cranberry Juice. ;-)

I've had that happen but I didn't go to the doctor or anything I just dealt with it. Mine would only last for about a week. But I know what your talking about, it does hurt. I don't know what it was.
