Seek, and ye shall find. You could create an enigma about any number. There are 12 eggs in a carton and 12 donuts in a box. There are 12 months in a year, and Jesus had 12 disciples. I turned 12 on December 12th, exactly 12 years, 12 days, and 12 hours ago! The chances of things sharing a common number aren't rare at all. In fact, it's inevitable. Numbers do have meanings, but if you don't know what to look for, you'll constantly be distracted by useless connections.
Numbers are meaningful when they serve a purpose (2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 arms). Otherwise, it's just coincidence (2 dogs on 2nd street bit 2 children).
