Bush blew through Clinton's reservoir of excess funds faster than Clinton was able to make the surplus happen.
This war should be with the people who flew into our country and caused the 9/11 tragedy.
Iraq pissed off the oil money people that are friends and cronies of George and his daddy. They used to have parties together. Now they are annoyed and using our soldiers to settle their spat. Thankfully, there is the benefit of freedom for the Iraqi people. That makes this not a mistake, this makes their presence there worth while.
I just want to understand why we are not concentrating on the terrorists that started this. I have many loved ones serving over there, including my youngest child's father. I believe in what they are doing. I thank them for their zeal. I love my country, I cannot fight for it, I thank our veterans for doing what I cannot.
I do want to impeach Bush. He is a liar. He is a thief, and he is too confused and mentally lost to run our country. He "won" both elections with controversy. Why not a re-vote instead of a re-count? If he had won clean, I would say nothing, but two elections with controversy makes me wonder about the truth of the politics in Washington.
I want Clinton back. Hillary too. I want to have a paycheck and get my overtime. I want to take better care of our people here in America before we send money to other countries. I want to have the values of the government to come back closer to the constitution that our country is based on. Please give us a hero for a president. Not a c average screw off who obviously does not understand that you have to have a BUDGET! Some one in charge who understands that America wants to eat too. I was making 24000 a year when Clinton left office, I make 8000 a year now since Bush has been in. I have lost my house, my car, and filed bankruptcy. I never left my job. The American Dream will die if Bush has control much longer. I am not alone, my co-workers are many, and we have all lost. I am in human services.
My stock account has gone from 200 when Clinton took office, 44000 when Clinton left office. My stock is now worth about 12000. I cashed out not long ago before any more disappeared, in an attempt to avoid bankruptcy. Please give me a president who understands that the poor will rise up against an unfair system when it becomes too much of a burden. I fear for our inner cities, I fear for our children who have been slashed form the programs that Bush has removed. Clinton was able to help these people, why can't Bush? Answer, he doesn't care, he is lost, he is taking bad advice...

Perhaps people see themselves in the typical guy George Bush. He's not an elitest, above everyone else. And some may like him because he's the underdog, striving despite having a low IQ and being a bad speaker. There are a lot of reasons..hehe

I come from Italy and i can tell u what we have understood here: there are many people, who someone might call ignorant, who strictly believe in the biblical order of nature.. that is to say in the sky there is God, under the sky there is my field with my cows, I care about my life and I defend my propriety with all what I have.. (it's great the fact that this is not the order that we can actually find in the bible and in the other religious sources, and especially in the gospels).. these people, who are for the majority settled in small communities, do appreciate a president like B. as he always talks of those religious and cultural values, that someone might define archaic and populist, in line with their life philosophy. Then there is the part of USA people who like earning money always and with no mercy.. these people, who are the soul of the American capitalistic system, do love his great policy of control for what concerns the production of gas in the atmosphere and the foreign policy of neo colonization that gives so many chances to spread one's activity.. Then there are xenophobic people, very rich people and also all those members of the lobby of guns whose name I never remember; all these people mirror their world view in Bush.. Do you think that here in Italy we get the right image of bush supporters?? however, all those who stand for berlusconi here share a lot with those I suppose to be B's fans..

(Ebwina) 29% disapproved of bushes war in Iraq not 29% didn't like him get your facts straight. I think Bush is OK he's not a good speaker, but his handling of 9-11 he did well, the war in Iraq I think could have waited. And the war on terror actually started in 93 with the first bombing of the trade center, I feel Clinton failed in his job to protect the American people he was offered bin Laden twice, and just passed it on for Bush to deal with. Bush is not tough enough on illegal immigration, no worker program or amnesty. But every President can't be everything to everybody, and nobody agrees with everything a President dose, I am Republican but not staunch in my support for Bush, because I don't agree with his immigration policy.

it is proven that the majority of people in northern states have better educations than people in the southern states. Bush got elected by the South. Bush is liked by the south. There is a direct link between the their lack of education and their approval of Bush.

I personally like him because he wants to free other people. But his ability to not listen to critics and to keep trusting in his faith is inspiring. Also the truths that he does not care to let people know. For instance America has already stopped over 5 terrorist plots since 9-11. His direction is shown to be true with Al Zarqwi (I know i did not spell that correct) being killed and Iraqi's loving him for helping free them from their dictator
