am so confused?

my birth day is january 20 does this make me an aquarian or a capricorn, some websites say aquarius, some say capricorn, i believe my self to be an aquarian, but am not sure

I think January 20 is probably an Aquarius, but it could depend on the year. I have a computer program that will tell for sure if you tell it the exact date, time, and time zone. It goes by what sign the center of the Sun is in. Most professional astrologers would say that you are one or the other sign, not a mixture of both. Signs that are next to each other are actually very different.

I am no expert but it is my understanding that you are on a cusp. This usually means that you posess traits which are both acquarian and caricorn. Now other factors may come into play which would make you believe that you are more aquarius than capricorn. I say tell people you are aquarius and privately you may recognize your capricorn side.
