71 LeMans Sports came factory with a 4bbl 350p motor. the firing order for this engine is 18436572 the # 1 cylinder is the first cylinder on the drivers side. The drivers side are the odd # cylinders 1357 the passenger side are the even # cylinders 2468 cylinder numbers going from radiator to firewall. The distributor on this application is at the rear of the engine by the firewall. standing at the radiator and looking at the distributor # 1 cylinder should be at about 4 o'clock with the firing order of 18436572 going in a clockwise direction.

It uses the standard 400 8 cylinder firing order 18436572, that is if it has a 400 in it
