Willow, directed by George Lucas, is probably the best of the bunch..It stars Val Kilmer.
Labarynth (featuring David Bowie)
Sword and the Sorcerer (terrible, poorly cut)
Legend (horrible Tom Cruise)
Dark Crystal - early 80s but pretty good
Krull - piece of crap featuring a flying weapon that spun in mid air
Dragonslayer - pretty good dragon movie
Mazes and Monsters - with Tom Hanks - not a wizard movie, but about role players and what happens when one becomes lost in fantasy
Excalibur - there might have been a PG-13 version - John Boorman's version of King Arthur

Wizard of Light and Sound, some sfx movie. Wasn't there a 2 hr Nintendo advert with Fred Savage that had wizards. Merlin, Legend, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal.
