Boil water and let it cool down until its not boiling. Take the pot of water and pour on the stain. Dab it up with a white towel or a towel that isn't darker than your carpet (hot water will make the towel bleed). After that if the stain doesn't come out, spray with vinegar and water and dab that out too. If it doesn't come out, then it is probably soaked into the padding and that will have to be replaced before it will come out. If the carpet is worth keeping or you can't afford to replace it, then maybe you could replace the padding and the spot of carpet. Call a discount carpet company and talk to them about the problem. Maybe they will have a remnant of carpet that will do.

There are products that are made to spot clean carpets, some are actually for removing pet stains. Try your department store or a pet supply.

Use 3% hydrogen peroxide straight from the bottle, pour it over the stain then dab it dry with a towel.

Have you ever tried Natures Miracle? I have used it during the puppy stage and it worked for me. Here's the web site just in case you haven't heard of it. Good Luck :)
