Every season is tourist season in NYC. I hate people at Times Square, I think the bright lights hypnotize people and make them rowdy, annoying and stupid. Other places they seem to calm down a bit.
Are you from Florida, yeah I toured there for a few days. One more untanned tourist crowding the beach huh. Hey, my grandpa wanted to see his grandson. It wasn't during tourist season though.

I like tourists. You know, folks who fly down, go to a hotel, sample our oceanfront restaurants, visit our attractions, see a few shows, ride a few taxis, and 3 weeks later go home. I like them just fine, they pay a lot of taxes that would otherwise fall on me.
But I can't stand the D*MN tourists. You know, folks who drive down, stay with relatives, buy all their food at Publix or the local working people's diner, spend all their time hanging around their relatives' pool or the mall, drive slow in the fast lane, and NEVER go home. I just can't stand them.

To quote George Carlin (I think):
If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?
