Why am i an idiot?? Because I do not believe the italians were paying off the ref?? It was a very nasty foul as was rightly sent off..... whats your problem?
And it was an own goal USA didnt even score that goal!! get over it!

Are you kidding? Didn't you watch the post game interviews? That ref had been suspended 5 years ago for "irregularity" in calls during games. That's why he didn't ref the last world cup. I say suspend him again! He was so inconsistent and red carded the USA on two calls that were at MOST yellow cards. Italy did not pay-off the ref... the ref is just not doing his job! Suspend him before he ruins it for another team.

I think maybe because his nation (Uruguay) this year do not partecipate to the World Cup ! - Australia won penalties
Bye the way : Mainly all fouls (italian and americans) was not so bad. By my advise the only fair red card was De Rossi. The other two americans should not have been sent in the change room so easely !

The ref just sucked in general. I don't think either of the U.S. players should have been ejected, considering neither of the plays were dangerous with mallicious intent. I don't think he was only calling the game for the Italians, but I do think the scorline would have been very different if he hadn't sucked so much.

no, Actually Italy won 2-1. Italy's second goal was right, but the ref considered as offside. if you do not believe watch the slow motion of that goal, even a child can understand it was right. but anyway it was an aggressive match & hard, And poor ref! was not very bad, but i agree that the last red card was not really necessary, he could give advantage. but he did as said in FIFA books.

Oh my God no they didnt f*CK!!!! why would they even THINK of doing such a thing?? ... and especially not after all that sh*t we've been hearing about from the italian soccer leagues... The ref was just full of sh*t today!

the ref was just bad period...he`s not reffin ever again in the world cup...but payoff maybe not bc the US had chances and didnt do ish

What I find funny is that everybody that support Italy is like "USA can't even score we scored for them".
Ummmm....that's even worse. You guys scored on yourselves, that's about as bad as it gets. Besides we scored on you guys and the refs took it back so really Italy got off easy. So stop saying that like its a good thing. Italy scored on themselves...........*runs off laughing*
