Well, that all depends on what type of college / university you attend; community college or an actual university. Also, if you're paying for tuition yourself (no loans or grants involved) then most payments are due prior to classes starting (usually during registration).

depends on your college... ask your college. They should've told you when in their newsletter, website, admission letter, etc.. better yet, just call them to get the answer.
