People who were trained by bullies, or those who had a hard life, seem to get so annoyed at a simple question. Isn't it always simple when you know the answer, or can point them civilly in the right direction? Why not post a site, or give an answer, instead of slapping them down with an insult or your offer to punch them? How lazy is that?

OK, maybe it's true that those most successful at making money are the most driven, but they also seem to lack the ability to enjoy spending it, preferring to manipulate others to pay their way.
Can't people be generous with information? Isn't that how progress is made? I haven't yet decided if it is only romantics or Scrooges who love mystery, but why create it unnecessarily?
What's to lose?

Some posters are a little unfair - they won't post links. It's a brilliant feature, and underused. Why pretend to be a guru, when no one could possibly know everything on earth? Who can keep up with all the latest developments?

We have, in a way, everything to lose. If there was full disclosure to those who ask importunely.. would they be capable of understanding the gambit of what was presented to them? Their interpretations of our own, or reflections on the sources could cause further invective memetic patterns of anti-academic scholasticism. It becomes the dilemma of "margarita ante porca". If someone, for instance, identifies themselves as a business major, I will not "help" them to what I deem wise.

riiiggghhhhttt.... so first of all, are you guessing that most of these ppl grew up under the influence of bullies? bad life? Or is that your rationalization for something???? Guess I can't help you out there... I'll leave that to your shrink...oops, that was kind of mean, guess I felt like being lazy.

second of all, it's not laziness most of the time I'd imagine, when people don't answer as they probably could, but instead make a mean remark or say something stupid... it's probably agression/anger/purposefully leaving them in the dark....most of that takes more effort than you'd think...which is ironic, being as though they are trying to seem like they don't give a dang therefore won't take the time to get the website...silly fools, they waste more energy obsessing over being controling with their knowledge (if they do really have any).

Ummm, not gona answer your reference to monitary problems, for people can live their life as they please.

and thirdly, so what if they don't post links, they gave a little, let the receiver go look it up if it's that important to them. I mean you were just talking about people who apparently work hard for their money, you think they got there by having ppl give them answers to everything 100 %? When a professor gives you a little information on a topic for a research paper, does he also say exactly where to find the rest of the info??? NO, that's your part/job... go figure it out sister, and I'd say stop worrying about what other's can give you, and start worrying about what you can get on your own. AND, most importantly, always give links if you feel so adamant about it, lead by example.

peace. Please try to have a good day.

People often confuse having money with being educated. Which if was true, logically, the educated would be conservative. And traditionally the educated are Liberal.

The educated do not usually earn as much money as the driven. And if Knowledge is power, why does money make the world go round?

The Driven look down on the educated because they are educated.

The educated look down on the driven because money is the root of all evil.

Thus the educated treat the driven as mentally inferior to make themselves seem "wealthier", and the driven insult the educated to make themselves seem more intelligent.

I'm glad this appeared under philosophy and not psychology.

There is no real difference between a lazy question and a stupid one. A lazy person can ask a stupid question, while a stupid
person's question may appear lazy. The difference is in the psycho-epistemology of the asker, not the question itself.

This is one of the best questions I've seen today.

i have lengthy gone to a lot in the course of Poland and in Rome -- there have been mild alterations although the in reality authentic large difference is the language. in case you've been to take your bible (Catholic one) and walk into any Catholic church everywhere in the international - you'd be in a position to illustrate to the again, open and locate your readings, psalms and the Gospel. it really is extremely unifying once you're in a wierd usa. there are regularly happening holidays yet then there are also days that are better significant to a particular subculture or historic previous. in the Polish community the delivery and death dates of the overdue Pope John Paul II are celebrated while in different international locations which couldn't be the case - except in the US in Polish communities. i desire that enables somewhat!

I think there is a huge difference. Lazy can do it if they want to. Stupid doesn't even have a clue.
