It means that he/she would have to leave the game and miss the next game. The coach would have either one of the players already on the field be the goalkeeper OR put the backup keeper in and take one of the other players on the field off.

short of decking a guy in the face.....what would a keeper have to do to get a card......i used to play keeper for my H.S. team before i moved to D and you can get away with anything
