Introvert is a person who thinks by themselves to think best, not out loud with others. They think before they talk. They are also people who need to be alone at least a little time each day. They recharge energy that way. They do need to socialize but it can drain them. Intuitive in this test is not some psychic. It is a person who is cerebral, who reasons analytically and logically. Feeling is for the way you experience things. If you see a car accident, you will tune in to what people experienced as opposed to facts like what colors the cars were. You would pick up on whether someone was angry or shocked. J, judging, means you like to find an answer to decisions. You don't like open-ended situations that drag.

There is a book called "Please Understand Me" and it will explain in minute detail about your temperament and your personality. Get the original book as their is another book, part II but the first book is the best. Any book store will be able to order this book if they do not already have it in stock. It is a very popular book, and easy read and often used as a text book. I am an INTJ and all my life I have felt like an outsider, like I was different. Turns out I was right. Out of 100 people their will be one more person like me where as most personalities have a lot of company 16-24 out of a 100 will be of the same temperament.

It sounds like you took the Myers-Brigg Type Indicator, developed by psychiatrist Carl Jung, which charts your personality on four dimensions: 1) Attitudes: Extroversion v. Introversion 2) Information Gathering Functions: Sensing v. Intuition 3) Decision-Making Functions: Thinking v. Feeling 4) Lifestyle: Judgment v. Perception Your type is Introversion, Intuition, Feeling and Judgment. According to another measure based on Myers-Brigg, developed by David Keirsey, your role is Counselor.

Some believe that personality is a set thing ones born with, others believe that it is always developing up to ones death. Really look at the environment and compare it to specific personality traits. I have taken many personality tests and they have all come out different. Each time I took a test I was at a different point in my development. check my group out for more information: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Mental-Health-Connections/
