I just changed sparks and oil gasket but it started turning off after adding fuel injection cleaner to the gas tank. I haven't changed the feul filter-ever. could this be the problem?

First... make sure you read the instructions on the fuel injection cleaner. Their are types that need to be flushed through directly at the injector rail... not put in the gas tank. If you put the correct injector cleaner... you have a problem with fuel starvation. Hopefully this cleaner will not harm the fuel pump. Depending on your mileage it can be a coincidence and your fuel filter simply needs changing.

Sounds like the car is starving for fuel . check the fuel filter and check the gas itself for water.

First, do some basic maintenance, like changing fuel and air filters. I have a similar problem, mine is suspected of being frozen open injector.

all the above could be true. but depending on the year, how well the car has been maintained, and how many miles are on it, it could also be the fuel pump.
