Nielsen Media Research collects and mines data for the "most watched programs" but does that mean they are the best?

wow so far i think only one person has understood the meaning of the question... CABLE tv as NOT a broadcast network like abc, fox, cbs, upn, wb, nbc

i have a few though

most are on FX:
It's always sunny in philadelphia, rescue me, the shield, nip/tuck

and HBO:
Entourage, Deadwood

There is to many to pick from as for Nielsen well I think it is dumb You can have A great show and no one who on the Nielsen rating broad watching it and it it will get canceled but the again if most of them our watching a show then it will get pick up and it might stink

I only have basic cable, but I enjoy The Soup on E! Very funny!
and The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. I love Colbert's character he's created for this show.
