It not hard, if, you know what to do to take care of your crop. Talk to your County Extension Office, they in the Government section of the phone book. Where I live the Grape Growers have a Co-Op and you may not want to get into that. You could try a "Pick-U-Own". Where I live there many that grow Apples & Peaches and do well with "Pick-U-Own" Another thing you may want to look into and talk about with your County Extension Office are "Muscadines" they are actually the American Grape, born and bred in America and not as sucepitable to the Diesese and Insects like the Grapes from oversea that ARE NOT Native to America. What is good about Muscadines is; many people make Jellies/Jams to sell to Tourist, so, they are in Demand!!!! May think about a U-Pick on this. BUT, talk to your County Extension Office, they free, your and my Taxes pay for this service. They tell you all kinds of things and Check your Soil too, so, you know what it need.

It's a real expensive business to get into... You have to live in a desirable area so #1 you can put it on the wine label and #2 so you don't get rain rott or too dry a taste. This usually means that the land is going to be exorbinate to buy. Then you have to buy a first batch of grape plants. Then you have to graft all the plants so they produce consistent wine. It's going to be at least 10 years before you can even sell your first glass of wine.

But if you have the money to waste... Have fun! It should be interesting.

Unless you know alot of what you are doing I wouldn't do it. I know at times you have to run heaters out there to keep the grapes from freezing. It is alot of hard work., knowing when to pick to pruning
