Certainly; it is a biological desire, but not a true need like food or drink or air. Many famous people are believed to have been virgins all their lives; Hitler and Sir Isaac Newton are two extreme (opposite) examples. One killed millions, the other made discoveries in science and technology that we still use today which have benefited millions. It seems to me that they must have made use of the energy in their lives which would otherwise have been wasted. Going without sex won't kill anybody.

I don't think so. I love sex, and I have gone long enough without it, because I can't get to my boyfriend. He is still in the hospital, so sex really isn't even an option right now. I can't wait until August so I can see him again!!

I'd rather not. It sucks. Badly. I'm 21 and am now single for the first time since I was 16. And i haven't had sex since March 15th. I don't like it. At all.

I'd prefer NOT TO! It's like having that first cup of coffe in the morning; you don't want to talk to me until I had it.
