First of all Jeff, It's the 11 herb's and spices not 7 in the Colonel's original recipe. But since you asked here you go.

1.salt
2.black pepper
3.Cayenne powder
4.garlic salt or powder
5.onion salt or powder
6.parsley
7.rosemary
8.oregano
9. paprika
10.sage
11.thyme

Hope this helps but the true secret is in the proportions! To find this you have to dig deep, it's not easy to find the real one or you can just ask me. Ha Ha! Most of the copy cats use cheats like salad dressing mixes or instant soup packs. It sounded to me as if you wanted the real thing so just click the link below I set up for you and you'll be set. And one final thing- to get the taste exact you need a pressure deep fryer (pioneered by the colonel himself) you can pick one up at any major restaurant supply, all the chicken places use them now. It fries foods at higher temps and seals them faster than typical deep fryers. Good luck cuz they ain't cheap and they're pretty big to fit in your kitchen. Bon appetit!

Yes, Col Harlan Sanders started KFC in Laurel County, Kentucky. The original building is sitilll there and has a new KFC inside. Sanders sold the business years ago but remained as the spokeman and image as KFC spread worldwide.
