I'd leave you too if you served me my parrot and called it a "precious candlelight dinner".

Coming from a woman. If you have tried and she doesn't respond the leave get out before you regret anything that is said or done. You can try a trial sepration but they hardly ever work because for some unknown reason even if both agree on the terms of the seperation one of the two will not be able to let go of something that happened during the sepration. Your best bet hun move on.

Don't think I've ever had someone to fix me a candlelight dinner (or breakfast or lunch, for that matter).

Had you two had problems prior to this that would cause her to want a divorce? Or was this sudden?

I know how you must feel. But remember, in any case, you CAN'T BUY LOVE. It's okay to try to change her mind if you think it would help, but the bottom line is....if she has made up her mind and it's a done deal, then you'll have to accept it. Personally, I don't want anyone that doesn't want me.

The question you need to answer first is why is she leaving. If it has something to do with one of your actions, then she is probably acting this way for a reason. If there is nothing you can think of for her to act this way them maybe you should consider she is just not right for you and find someone that will appreciate your kindness.

It sounds to me like the two of you have had on-going problems. Some people, who aren't happy, never appear happy. She will have to decide what she really wants from this life.
