impotence - refers to a man's inability to achieve an erection
ovulation - this is what is occuring when an oocyte, or "egg" is released from the one of the woman's ovaries, after which it enters the fallopian tube, where it may or may not be fertilized by sperm.
fertility - refers to the ability to conceive a child.

Impotency is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection, ovulation occurs when an egg is release from an ovary in preparation for possible fertilization (pregnancy) and fertility is the bodies ability to contribute it's share in achieving pregnancy (either the sperm or the egg)
