the passage of time is a constant. It doesn't go slower or faster.However if you occupy your mind as you do the task time can seem to go by much faster. maybe make a game out of it See how many berries you can pick in 5 min and then try to top it or as was suggested get headphones and listen to some music

Do you have a sprinkler? I'd turn it on and run through it every so often. It should keep ya cool and you can laugh at how silly the idea is. Got music? Mp3 players don't skip like CD's great for workin and groovin.

Listening to music can help, but it might (if your ipod list is a little short) get boring. Think about whats going on in your life or memories. Don't keep your eye on a watch it might seem to slow things down!

Wear headphones and listen to music or books on tape or learning a foriegn language. Time alone is also a good time to just think.
