Was this a trick question?

There are no Senators in the House; they are all in the Senate.

Unfortunately, there is no way to answer this question since the terms of reference are all subjective. It's like asking: What's better--chocolate ice cream or french vanilla." The answer will depend entirely on who you are asking and what their preferences are.

For example, someone from the south-southwest with "Bible Belt" indoctrination, would probably view my favorite Senator as a left-wing, godless, closet communist. Conversely, coming from Massachusetts, I would probably view his or her favorite Senator as an ignorant, redneck, throwback, latent fascist--a definition so many of them seem to fit!

Like I said...there is no real way to answer the question, unless you can first get agreement on just what you mean by "best"...and good luck to you on that!

Just so we are clear on this. Senators sit in the senate not the house.

well for next year's primary, I am really rooting for Ned Lamont for CT democrat. Lieberman needs to leave. Ned stands for alot of issues that I, and many other, democrats care about.
