Paraguay 1 win: 2 points
Belgium 2 losses 0 points
In the 1930 World Cup, the USA won the first match in World Cup history, defeating Belgium 3-0
US advance to the semifinals, as winner of his group, where it lost to Argentina 6 to 1
USA also participated in 1934, 1950,1990 (not making it to the next round)

1930. It was made because US tried to do without soccer in the Los Angeles Olympic games. Kind of like why the World Baseball Classic came up, because Olympic games is trying to do without baseball and softball in the Olympic games.
