I am from Germany and I encourage you to go some day.
There are many nice places to visit. I am from Hamburg ,North Germany, a Seaport City. But where ever you go ,there will be much to see.

I went to Germany and stayed with my friend who is a military wife. She lived in Frankfurt on the base.
We traveled to many summer beer festivals with amusement parks, saw the death camps (sniff, tear), and of course Neuswanstein (hope I spelled that right).
I think I loved southern Bavaria the most. It was a beautiful country, mountain region, and the misty sea green rivers were awe inspiring. Plus, I grew up eating the souther Bavarian foods and eating there was heavenly!!!
