Is a maintenance free, gel battery, as good as the marketing claims?

There are two big advantages of sealed gel batteries vs. liquid acid:

1. Seal gel can't spill, even when turned completely upside down.
2. Sealed gel has a much lower freezing point than liquid acid, so you can leave it outside over the winter with no worries.

Gel cells are good for maintanance free operations. Lead/acid batteries have more power and are less tempurature sensitive, but much heavier and can leak.

sealing gel last longer thats jsut a guess. im not sure.
