I would check w/Dad first to make sure there are no problems on his end. If there are none, this is a 14 yo. She doesn't get to make those life decisions now. The only way that her living status will change is through the courts where everybody agrees it is best for the child.

If she says it isn't fair---tell her life isn't fair--get used to it.

Temper tantrums are no reason for a selfish escape. She will never learn to deal with reality.

Just ask him. If you two can't act like adults to each other than that 14 year old is gonna play ping pong between the two of you to get every thing that she wants. You have to be willing to present a unitied front so she cannot manipulate you both into situations that compirmise her health and safety. Also at 14, in most states, she has a say in who she lives with, so mending this fence is important.

She is angry but you should definately go check with her father and make sure everything is fine. Women's intuition is often right
