You have lost your belief in your self knowledge of what works for you. Think back on your life, starting with now, until you remember a time when you had a belief system that worked. Even if you have to go back to early childhood. Then think of why that worked for you then, go forward and explore belief systems that resonate with the earlier belief. Don't give up.

You have lost the ability to see life through a child's eyes. See the good in all people instead of the bad and you will feel much better.

Maybe you need to retrieve your sense of wonder. You can see each day as a ho-hum experience or you can rise each morning with the warmth of Gods sun painting the morning sky which each day is an encore performance of the wonders we are gifted with when the eyes see the beauty in the simple things of life.

I assume by feel better you mean not depressed? Being hospitable and generous, an appreciation for nature and being good to yourself are things that make you feel good. Find a faith that incorporates these beliefs.

Believe in the goodness of people and in having fun. If you can walk through Wal-Mart singing & dancing to their muzak, and not CARE what people think, you have a real sense of crazy fun. Take a friend, and go do it--you will laugh, and laughter seems to be what's missing for you!

Your soul, George. You sold it in the name of Big Oil and the military industrial complex! Actually you probably sold your soul during your initiation into Skull And Bones...what do you guys do in those meetings, anyway? You can tell me...I won't tell anybody, honest!

You have lost your faith. Faith is believing in something even if you can not see it before you. Being comforted by knowing God is there for you even if what you want did not come to be. Knowing that in the end, He will be there, no matter what. I hope you find your faith.
