In your question you mention respect for all, and yet you are trashing someones beliefs! What a hypocrite! Try reading the Bible before you judge christian beliefs as being 'weak'.

I personnaly believe Jesus is the Son of God because the Bible says so. I just refuse to believe there are so many historical documents say Jesus is the Son that it isn't so. Don't take my word, check it out. Take a couple of courses at school in History of the Bible or go on line and look up some of the documents. Jesus is the Son of God. Mohammed may or may not have had sex with a child, but he was the son of two human beings and is subject to commit the same sins we all do.

The religions of Abraham, in general, the Jews, the Christians, and the Muslims believe that their way is the only way that is right. All the other ways are basically wrong. Christians believe Jesus is indeed the son of God, because from their viewpoint, what is said in Psalms and Isaiah are basically fulfilled in good detail in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, John, and Luke. Read these books of Psalms, Isaiah, Matthew, Mark, John, and Luke, if you are interested. That's where they come from. And the religions of Abraham believe that there is only one God. None other. It just so happens that 2/3 of the world believes in Abraham's God, one way or the other. Only the West has put off God, especially after World War 1 and II. Because WW1 was fought in the name of God and King, and WWII, Hitler claimed he was fighting against the godless communists, and the US and UK were Christians. People got disillusioned and confused and angry in the West. Most people want to read Revelations just for fun. As a spook interest. Read Daniel, and you'll see some similarities between Revelations and Daniel.

I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I mean, if you can believe that there is a God, then you can believe that he has a son, right? And as far as religious conflict goes, we Christians believe that everyone has a free will to choose to or not to follow God, but many Christians in the past have tried to impose Christianity on others, which isn't right, but most of the religious conflict today is caused by Muslims who want to impose Islam on others. Basically, what Christians believe today is that there is only one way to God, through accepting the forgiveness of his Son, Jesus Christ, but they are not going to force Christianity on people. If they do, they are really going at it all wrong. They believe that others who are not Christians are lost, whether they be atheist or believe in another "religion." So our objective is to be kind and fair and loving to them so that they will see how we act and want to join in, because Christianity is mostly based on the Golden Rule: Do unto others what you would have them do to you. If you would like to read the Bible, try Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John, the sections which tell about what Jesus did during his life. There's a lot of good stories there. And if you're looking for a church, try a Baptist church. No one can guarantee that someone who says they're a Christian is going to act like one, but the Baptist theology is pretty accurate.

If you are intelligent enough to believe that there is no way that molecules came together to form male and female by chance, then you must believe in a creator. If there is a creator then that creator who is master of time , space and dimension would have rules or guidelines to live by. Christians (Christ-Like) believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. We believe ALL of it, not certain parts. Either all of it is true, or we live a Lie. I have been blessed too much and seen many miracles happen to just be by chance. Jesus is alive and died for my sin. I believe with all my heart his message of salvation and this ASSURES me a place in Heaven when I die. I'm not some wacko who thinks if I blow myself up I get 70 virgins!!!!

you'll have to point out your percieved weakness in christians calling Jesus the "son of God", those who call him such obviously have a reason for doin so. Is your belief that He is not who He says He is so weak? Your belief that He is not does not change the facts of who He is. Do you have a justification for what it is you would stand for? Do you stand for anything or will you fall for anything? You can be religious about anything you want. What part of your personal experience of christian virtue offends you the most?

I don't see a connection between your statement and your question. Why do people use silly questions to plug some speech about how they don't want others to force their religion on them. But the asker ends up trying so hard to prove their point that they come off as trying to force their non religion on others.

As for your question:" i hear Christians call Jesus "son of God",is this belief just so weak to start with,or they actually believe it "
Obvious answer: That's the core of Christianity. To believe that Jesus is the son of God. (and as much as I hate to use this word), Duh.
