It's still Russian Roulette with your life.
They are safer but not safe. Abstance is safe. Keep your privates, private. Keep your pants zipped at all times. 100 % effective in preventing STDs and unwanted pregnancy.
Condoms are like a gun with 1 Bullet in it. You just never know when you are going to be hit with the big one.

My girlfriend and I do not use a condom. Since I broke her hymen and she has not been with anyone else, we do not have to worry. She is on the pill though. FYI I have only had three partners and I am 35.

I never did before I was married and I was VERY VERY LUCKY.

I caught one disease that was easy remedied.

Condoms made me lose interest in sex.
